Biography
Ellen Donnelly is an assistant professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Delaware. Her research broadly examines disparities in the U.S. criminal and juvenile justice systems. She specializes in using statistical methods to estimate the size and sources of disparity in justice processing as well as the impacts of justice reform. Her recent publications will appear in Justice Quarterly, The Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, and Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice. In Delaware, Ellen’s research has been supported by the Access to Justice Commission and the State Administrative Office of the Courts. Her work aims to help Delaware policymakers design fairer processing practices.
