Biography
Ben Fleury-Steiner is Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice and faculty associate at the Center for Drugs and Health Studies. His primary research focuses on racial and ethnic inequality in the criminal justice system and broader challenges to communities. He has published numerous scholarly articles and five books. His most recent research project focuses on stigma, drug addiction, and community responses to the opioid epidemic.
