Biography

Dana Holz (Ph.D. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy, University of Delaware) has been with the Center for Drug and Health Studies since February 2017. She is PI on the Strategic Prevention Framework – Prescription Drugs evaluation project, and is member of the evaluation team for the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant funded program in Delaware. She also contributes to the work of the State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup. Dana’s research interests include criminal justice policy, implementation science, nonprofit organizations, and behavioral health prevention and treatment efforts, with a specific interest in behavioral health within the disability community. Prior to her work with CDHS, Dana worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including nearly five years as a staff member of a local criminal justice reform and policy organization in Wilmington, Delaware. Dana is an AmeriCorps alumna.
